A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Ever wanted to date a Greek god? Well, here's your chance with Golden Throne: Tides of Love!

In this visual novel, you'll be able to try and win the hearts of one of three Greek deities on a dating show hosted by none other than Cupid himself! Between the options of the fierce Tisiphone, goddess of vengeance, the happy-go-lucky Dionysus, demigod of wine and festival, and the mysteriousness of Hades, god and ruler of the dead, it's hard to choose who to go for first! Will you be able to find love, or end up leaving empty handed?

Hi! So this is the demo for TOL! It runs on the Ren'Py engine so you may need to download the engine to play the game! This is kind of like my love child from both of my passions of Twisted Wonderland and Greek Mythology. I do plan on adding onto this and hopefully releasing a new chapter within a year or so :) if you'd like to  keep an eye on the creation of this project, my Instagram handle is @idiot_dionysus, and if you'd like to contact me, my DMs on Insta are open! Hi! I'm not sure what's going on but whenever I download the file, the actual game isn't in the folder! Just wanted to let you know ♡

Hi! I believe that's correct! Given that this is a Ren'py game, you'll have to download the engine and use that to run it. Take it like a car for example, the game is all of the components of a car asides for the engine, and the engine is well, the engine. From what I know, you can't play the game without downloading and opening up Ren'py. Here's a link to a guide on how to properly run it! You can ignore the part about opening up the tutorial and just look for the game. If it doesn't show up on the first try, testers have told me that clicking the small refresh button to the right of "PROJECTS" tends to work, or by putting the game folder inside of the engine folder and clicking refresh. Hope this helps!! <3

So I looked a little bit more into it, and I think I was able to properly fix it so you no longer need to separately download ren'py! Sorry, this is my first time making a game, so I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to this. Either way, thanks for letting me know! :)

Oh, no problem! Just glad I could inform you of it! I'll try both methods
